I’m delighted you enjoyed it. We have so much golden rod growing wildly, and those beautiful red cones of seeds or berries looked pretty — and were easier to reach — than the red leaves I had originally planned to pick. As for my giant marigolds, they were the perfect orange addition to the piece. It brought my joy both on Friday and on Monday when I trimmed fresh golden rod. I also found some black-eyed susans growing wildly, and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for more fall colors to adorn my table.
