“Smooth” makes me think about the ideal texture of skin and our society’s quest for beautiful, soft, smooth skin. It makes me think of a person who has a certain way about them — someone who can “smooth talk,” or perhaps a “smooth operator.” The expression “smooth as a baby’s bottom” also comes to mind.
I am late to the party for Susannah Conway’s August Break 2015, but I intend to follow the prompts through September. I’ll tag them #SeptemberBreak2015 — because I’m not quite ready to return to my self-directed schedules just yet.
