I’m thankful for the simple pleasure a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds brings me. No matter the time of year, a sunny, blue day always looks beautiful.
I’m thankful we have this gorgeous tree in our backyard that offers support for one end of my hammock. In the spring and summer, it’s brilliantly green. In the fall, it shines golden in the sunshine.
I’m thankful that the baby of our family turned 6 today. We celebrated with him on Halloween, and I baked a from-scratch, gluten free funfetti cake with cream cheese frosting. Happy Birthday to my little Mario fanatic!
I’m thankful I made it around the sun again. I celebrated my 32nd birthday on October 30th and whipped up this chocolate snickers cake with salted caramel frosting.
I’m thankful that about 45 minutes of door-to-door trick-or-treating yield 1.5 lbs of candy per kid. It was chilly and drizzly, so we cut our time short, but they did well. Happy Day After Halloween!
